DeWeese Photographic Arts Portraits
I use the full gamut of photographic possibilities when shooting a portrait, from simple black and white to hand-painted black and white, to color and manipulated SX-70 film. The main goal is to capture a bit of the soul of the subject. Most of my portraits are nudes. It's easier to find the person behind the clothes without the clothes. I'm not a portrait photographer. That's something that I have no desire to be. But when I work with a model on a project, I always try to capture who they are on that particular day, because we all change from day to day and could use a reminder of who we were at that particular time.
